CLIENT CHALLENGE FOR TRENDSET
The client presented three very unique business challenges to Trendset and needed a custom solution for each one.

CHALLENGE #1
The client is a very large UPS shipper that had no control in validating their US shipments.

Solution. Trendset developed a custom validation solution for the client. This custom application tracks shipments, matches them up against shipping system electronic feeds from UPS, and performs an in-depth analysis so they can pay off the electronic invoices issued by UPS.

CHALLENGE #2
The client had small warehouse locations that were not on their central reporting data. These outlying locations needed a way to report their bills of lading into the main reporting system for validation, processing and matching to appropriate freight bills for carrier payment.

Solution. The Online Bill of Lading system is a custom program designed for the client’s locations so they can easily logon to the client’s secure Trendset Web site via TrendTools and create shipment bills of lading, which are then integrated into the client’s main processing system for matching with correct carrier freight bills and entry into the main reporting system.

CHALLENGE #3
Since the client was such a large shipper, they used many smaller carriers. Their challenge was to somehow integrate these smaller carriers into their overall reporting system so they could submit electronic freight invoices for more accurate and faster processing.

Solution: One of our goals was to provide a higher level of technology to allow the client and their carriers to maintain high standards of service to each other. The Online Invoicing system was developed to allow all carriers, regardless of size of level of internal technology, to have the ability to generate a correct freight invoice online. The process is quick and easy too.
